RECOMMENDATION
for ECEC Curriculum Development

 

Policy-oriented document providing a visionary framework for improving early childhood education and care (ECEC) for children aged 0–3 years across Europe.

The document consolidates European and national experiences — with special attention to the advanced Lithuanian model of ECEC standards — to identify essential skills and abilities for children aged 0–3, along with competence profiles for educators and staff.

Authorities and decision-makers at local and national levels who can integrate good practices into early childhood education policies.

 

KiGa (Kindergarten) headmasters responsible for organizing and implementing ECEC curricula.

 

ECEC stakeholders (such as ECEC practitioners, nursery heads, government representatives, NGOs, and parental associations) who will participate in focus groups to evaluate the document.
